Students from the Global Railway program participated in field trips of Busan Transportation Corporation. and they visited the 2023 Busan International Railway Technology Industry Exhibition held at BEXCO in Haeundae, Busan.
Busan Transportation Corporation constructs and operates domestic and international urban railways, contributing greatly to the development of urban transportation in Busan and the convenience and welfare of citizens.

The Students had time to understand internal systems such as advanced safety operation that can remotely control trains while riding the first unmanned driving light train in Korea.
The trainees also attended the Busan International Railroad Technology Industry Exhibition, which is the largest among railroad-related exhibitions in Korea.
About 75 domestic and foreign companies prepared railroad-related booth experiences and open seminars, and actual trains from each country were exhibited as models so that you could ride and experience them yourself.
Among the approximately 75 domestic and foreign companies that participated in the Busan International Railroad Technology Industry Exhibition, the National Railroad Corporation and Hyundai Rotem directly introduced their booths to trainees in the global railroad training course, had time to communicate with students and answer questions about the railway system.
In addition, experience spaces such as a KTX driving simulator, virtual reality of a railroad accident, and a bus train station were prepared to experience the railroad system incorporating state-of-the-art technology.
Afterwards, the students had free time in Busan, which can be said to be Korea's second largest city, and finished the field trip by touring the unique attractions of the coastal city.
